The Nest

Our aim at The Nest is to provide a safe, supportive and stimulating start to the Eagles Primary journey.  We will create an environment that will nurture their natural curiosity, inspiring them to embrace the awe and wonder around them in an inclusive and homely setting where they are able to create and develop their individual learning journey. 

Positive, proactive and passionate practitioners develop caring relationships with the children in their care. A named keyworker for each child helps both the child and their adult to feel supported and engaged in their own learning adventure within our play kingdom, with an understanding of how to support their child’s progression at home. 

A clear and inclusive curriculum will support the development of the individual child, using their own interests to extend their learning using a play-based approach that is directly linked to Reception Year and beyond.   This will enable the nursery to work together with the rest of the school, taking advantage of the equipment, expertise and enthusiasm of the whole school team, ensuring that our eaglets grow into confident and curious learners who become successful individuals that are ambitious, engaged and subsequently empowered to follow their dreams.
